Subang Jaya, 7 Januari 2014 – Debaran bagi para penggiat muzik tanah air kini bermula! Selepas pengumuman barisan finalis pada akhir bulan November lalu, pastinya para peminat muzik tanah air tidak sabar menanti kelangsungan Anugerah Juara Lagu 28 (AJL 28) yang memperlihatkan persaingan sengit 12 buah lagu terbaik hasil nukilan serta garapan komposer dan penulis lirik tempatan pada 26 Januari nanti. Selepas kemenangan Yunalis Zarai dengan lagu ‘Terukir Di Bintang’ yang dipersembahkan oleh Aizat, lagu manakah yang bakal dinobatkan sebagai Juara Lagu di AJL 28?

AJL28 akan bersiaran secara langsung dari Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil bermula 9.00 – 11.30 malam pada 26 Januari 2014. Saksikan persembahan hebat daripada 12 artis berkumpulan dan solo seperti Aizat Amdan & Noh Salleh (In Love With You), Alyah (Kau Yang Terindah), Awi Rafael & Altimet (Kalau Aku Kaya), Azlan & The Typewriter (Tanda Tanya), Black (Takkan Terpisah), Hafiz (Bahagiamu Deritaku), Hazama & The Penglipurlara (Penglipur Lara), Hyper Act (Hanya Aku), Jaclyn Victor (Ikut Rentakku), Najwa Latif feat Sleeq & Syamkamarul (Sahabat), Salammusik (Aku Pelat), dan Stacy (Bosan).

Hampir tiga dekad sejak penganjurannya, Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) bertujuan memartabatkan industri muzik tanahair terutamanya memberi penghormatan kepada komposer dan penulis lirik. Diangkat sebagai acara muzik tahunan berprestij tempatan, Anugerah Juara Lagu ke 28 (AJL 28) memperkenalkan ‘Game On’ sebagai konsep dan tema persembahan pada tahun ini. Arus pembangunan industri muzik tanah air sentiasa membuka ruang kepada penggiat muzik yang sentiasa berani menyahut cabaran dan menggalakkan eksperimen baharu dalam membentuk seni muzik yang lebih inovatif.
Sidang media Anugerah Juara Lagu 28 yang berlangsung di Hotel Empire Subang dihadiri oleh Cik Sherina Mohamed Nordin, Pengurus Besar Kumpulan TV3 & TV9 dan juga barisan finalis AJL 28 yang terdiri daripada komposer, penulis lirik dan penyanyi. Para hadirin juga dihiburkan dengan persembahan nyanyian oleh Radhi OAG di majlis tersebut.

Menurut Encik Ahmad Izham Omar, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif, Rangkaian Televisyen, Media Prima Berhad, “Sejak diperkenalkan, Anugerah Juara Lagu terus mendapat perhatian dan kemunculannya bagaikan satu tradisi pemecah revolusi yang sentiasa dinantikan oleh setiap peminat muzik tanah air. Selain memberi pengiktirafan kepada penggiat muzik tanah air, Anugerah Juara Lagu juga merupakan pencetus kepada perubahan dalam evolusi muzik tanah air. Sudah menjadi matlamat kami untuk memastikan Anugerah Jura Lagu 28 terus diangkat sebagai acara yang berprestij dan pembuka tirai tahun 2014 yang hangat diperkatakan.
